Panasonic Claims Advances in Standardizing 3D Blu-Ray Standard

Chipmaker TSMC sees drop in quarterly profits

Major contract chipmaker Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co has announced that its fourth-quarter income dropped 64 percent year-on-year, blaming a worldwide recession and a sharp drop in demand. IBM accused of mainframe monopoly

A complaint alleging that IBM has abused its position in the European mainframe market was filed with the European Commission on Tuesday.
